NDIS Partner

SafeActions is pleased to announce that they are now a registered NDIS provider.

 SafeActions provides services to improve:

  • daily living skills via individual assessment, therapy and/or training (includes assistive technology), with specialisation in manual task strategies

  • personal mobility equipment including specialised slings and in situ slide sheet systems.

Implemented strategies are tailored to meet the individual needs and goals of the individual with disability, according to their activities of daily living and AT, behaviour support needs and understanding of WHS obligations. The varying demands and stressors placed on the family of an individual with disability are recognised, considered and reduced as much as possible.

Self Management and Micro-Enterprises

Self management often involves the family taking on the role of person conducting the business (PCBU) in relation to WHS. Individuals and families need to ensure they provide a safe work place within a home environment, provide adequate information, instruction, training and supervision as per the Work Health and Safety Act 2020 and choose suitable manual tasks equipment. SafeActions is extremely familiar with and skilled at using the legislation, regulations and Codes of Practice to deliver customised interventions that will assist individuals with disability who self-manage to ensure they have the specific policies, procedures, standards and guidelines to ensure the compliance with relevant Acts, Codes of Practice and Australian Standards.
